As the son of a working-class family born in 1988 in East Germany at the time of reunification, I can well understand what it is like to break out and to feel the insecurity on your path. Since my youth, I have been fascinated by the question of how we become who we are. For this reason, I particularly enjoy topics around self-worth, identity, emotions, men's work and communication. I am passionate about questioning the status quo and finding creative solutions. I can rely on my curiosity, my appreciation as well as my great interest in people and their stories. I am already looking forward to getting to know you!
In my psychological work, a positive and open view of people is particularly important to me. Each person has an individual story and valuable resources, but we often orientate ourselves to what others set as an example for us out of uncertainty or expectations. My goal is to accompany you for a better understanding of your emotions, leaving obstructive ways of thinking and behaviour behind and to live connected and authentically again.
We will use scientifically-based methods like cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in our sessions. Also, we will take a culture- and queer-affirmative perspective on your concerns.
No problem! You have the opportunity to get to know the work with me in a free 25-minute initial consultation and find out together what exactly you need in terms of accompaniment.
